Susanne Joehnk is the Garden Educator at Wren Avenue. She grew up in Germany with a mother who is an avid gardener. Numerous fruits and vegetables grew in her garden and processing the harvest together was part of her childhood. She moved to the East Bay Area in 2021 and her favorite time of the year here is spring, when the hills are vivid green. Susanne loves cooking and baking, is passionate about healthy eating, and is always trying out new recipes. She is excited to show the children of Wren Avenue the wonderful things nature gives us and how to create healthy, yet delicious food from its fruits.
