Sam Gross (or Teacher Sam) is excited to work as the Garden Teacher at Sun Terrace! Sam's interests include forests, flowers, and plant science. Originally from New York City, Sam recently moved out to California to work at a local farm in Berkeley.

Sam's work with Growing Healthy Kids also includes supporting the program as the Community Outreach Coordinator, which involves Sam in a number of projects and gives Sam the chance to engage with students, community members, and staff at schools throughout the district.

When Sam's not at work, you can find Sam out taking long walks, biking around the area, and listening to audiobooks!
