Gregory Gardens Elementary School
Angela Berry is the garden educator at Gregory Gardens Elementary School. As an Indigenous (Choctaw) gardener and educator, she enjoys teaching children about the reciprocal relationship between humans and plants and hopes to foster a deeper connection to the land within them. She has worked teaching math and science at the community college level and in Indigenous public health education and environmental advocacy for over a decade. As a parent of four young children, she is an active classroom volunteer and is excited to work with Growing Healthy Kids to share her love of the natural world and science with children in the outdoor classroom.
