Alice Burns is the Education Director of Growing Healthy Kids and the longstanding Garden Educator at Bancroft Elementary School. Her grandmother started her gardening journey when she was a wee sprout, which means she has enjoyed being around plants for a long time. Her teaching career began after college graduation, which is also a long time ago. Connecting students to the outdoors, healthy eating, and the wonders found in a garden classroom is a delightful way to spend her time. She's honored to be a part of the Growing Healthy Kids program.
