At Growing Healthy Kids, we seek to deepen the connection between MDUSD students and the local farmers who work to feed their communities. We believe that outdoor education introduces students to the importance of agriculture, and we offer a range of programs that support students and families as they integrate those lessons into their lives and onto their plates.

At Youth Farm Stands, Growing Healthy Kids' local farm partners Family Harvest Farm and Rodgers Ranch supply organic produce for distribution by 4th and 5th grade leaders at 3 MDUSD sites. Youth Farm Stands build leadership and communication skills while getting fresh, whole foods directly to families and students.
